Be Yourself. Be the Person Standing Right In Front of You In the Mirror.

I am the last to see Avengers, yet I learned something new.

The World around you is beautiful, yet it will try everything at its pace to derail you.

  • Don't experiment; what you are doing right now is safe.
  • Don't aim high.
  • Sell your attention to us.
  • Devote your biggest asset — TIME, to useless things.

But we all can fight back and claim what belongs to us.

You can be YOU, and I can be I.

And, then, we all can create the World we wish to stay in.

Weekends are Special

Weekends are special. Not only do they allow me to rejuvenate, but they also help me open up a whole new world of perspectives.

On such a Sunday evening, after spending some quality time reading and writing, my body asked me for some rest.

And, one of the benefits of weekends is that you can experiment. So, I chose to experiment with an excellent movie. (I watch some bit of guilt-free television on weekends because I avoid it on weekdays)

My daughter and I decided to watch an Avengers movie. I wanted to relax for a while, and my daughter too aligned with my thought to experiment with something other than a kid's movie.

It's 2022, and you will be surprised to know that I watched the first Avengers movies. I had no clue how and when these super characters came together and formed a league of their own.

On that Sunday, finally, it happened. And I was excited to unravel the mysteries.

One by one, the characters started coming together.

As Tony Stark and Dr. Bruce Banner came together, I was intrigued by one of the dialogues from Dr. Bruce. He spoke about "the other guy."

And, I was lost. Who was this other guy? In just a few minutes, the answer arrived — The HULK.

He became the HULK.

He became himself.

Who is This Other Person?

In those moments, I realized we all have these hidden "versions" of ourselves sitting inside us — waiting to be discovered.

We all are products of evolution. Of course, there are some percentages here and there, but evolution has ensured that we all remain the same or similar.

Yet, a few can achieve miles-long success, while others keep wondering what's happening around them.

The story of Hulk told me to believe in this new version, which is right there in front of me, and I am yet to discover.

Billions and billions of people were born and gone before you and me, yet there is no one on this planet like you and me. We are so unique. You can't be me, and I can't be you.

You can't be someone else.

But you can be YOU.

So stop comparing and thriving to become someone else.

Be what you are.

Be YOU.

Be the Hulk of your life.

Find the Hulk in your life.

Be the Person in the Mirror

Look into the Mirror. If you feel you are different than the ideal YOU, become the ideal you.

What else can you do at this moment but try?

Often we look at others, read all the fancy things about "successful" people around us, and wish to be like them. What's the point? You will never be able to catch this person. Never. There will always remain a gap between you and them. You are unique. They are unique.

Becoming a better or the best version of ourselves is a CHOICE.

And, to honor this choice is a choice.

A choice that is available to you round the clock. And, you can make this choice right now.

Every morning, I see in the mirror, not to look good but to see what my eyes want to tell me. Looking directly into these eyes is a beautiful expression. The World around us seems to be very different. When I do this "Mirror Gazing" exercise, I always learn something new.

If I fall short of my expectations, the only way I can fill the gap is to build a bridge on top of it.

No one else is going to build that bridge. Yes, I can form a team, find the right tools, collect appropriate ingredients, but the responsibility to become what I want to become is with me. For YOU, it's with YOU.

Be the person you want to see in the mirror.

Find Online Mentor

You can't be ME, and I can't be YOU. But we can learn each other's skills. We can acquire each other's knowledge and perspective. But, you can't meet me, and I can't meet you!

That's why I was intrigued by James Altucher's "online mentor" concept.

Read Books.

My book — Be Better Bit-By-Bit is a culmination of thoughts, actions, tools, tips, and tricks that I learned on my own over 5 or 10 or 15 or 20 years. And, what do I do with them? I consolidated a lot of them into a book and published it.

What is James Altucher doing with his books? Or, Naval Ravikant? Or Paulo Coelho? They are sharing what they have. So, when you read what they have inside them, you become THEM. You gain their skills, perspective, and knowledge. If not 100%, at least 1%. And, that's enough—more than enough.

Reading is POWER. Becoming YOU is power. Becoming ME is power.

Look into the mirror and face yourself right in the eyes. Tell yourself — I WANT TO BE ME. And then start working.

  • Don't be in a fear to be yourself.
  • You will be happy when you act yourself
  • Life will be in control when you be yourself
  • You will feel the SELF-power when you act to move towards it.
  • Becoming YOU is not easy, but it's not tough either.
  • Without "SELF" awareness, this World is not as beautiful.

Be yourself, as Oscar Wilde will say; everybody else is already taken.
