Be Thankful and Know God Has a Plan for You
J. M. Troppelo Writing Prompt — November 6, 2023
Be Thankful
Joanne asks us “if we have any favorite Bible verses to share about being thankful?”
Do you know you can rise up and succeed from anything? It is possible to completely recreate yourself. You are not stuck in any situation even though it feels like you are stuck. I have been in a situation in life where I could not see any future without living in fear and I felt trapped. I could not see a way out. The 91st Psalm was something I read more than once a day as it gave me hope and some peace.
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” — Psalm 91:1–2
It is possible to learn something new and even create new habits. The most important thing is that you decide to move forward and do not look back. Trust in the Lord and be thankful. There is a path forward for you, no matter how difficult it looks. Trust in God!
These are other Bible verses that give me strength and hope.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. — Psalms 28:7
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, and his love and endures forever. — 1 Chronicles 16: 34
