Hello, I am B. J. Vanderhoof! Christian, Husband, Father, YMCA Professional, Writer, Jedi Master.

Name: B. J. Vanderhoof Age: Getting Older Weakness: Gluten Fears: Alligators Strength: Strategic Knowledge Special Power: The Force (pretty sure I was able to shut a door one time with my mind)

On a normal day I get up and head into work. Where is that you ask? I work for a YMCA as a Program Executive. I have been working for the YMCA for over 15 years and have enjoyed every minute!

When I am not at work, I am enjoying spending time with my family. We enjoy watching movies (mostly Star Wars), playing sports, and we play a LOT of BOARD GAMES.

When I am not at work, or playing board games, I write. I have been writing on and off since college. Most recently I have started to post on Medium. I primarily write fictional short stories. I am enjoying the opportunity to share my work with those on Medium. Currently, I am posting a series of short stories called Tales from the Kingdom of Tyndall.
