Be More Than Just A Face by Deon Christie.
Don’t be just another face, be a rhyme, Be the inspiration worthy of someone’s time.
Be the hope, be the morning light, Be the reason that someone else takes flight.
Be the kindness, be the reason, Be the creator of someone’s sunny season.
Be humble, and be someone’s guide, Be willing to help and stand by their side.
Be the motivation even if only for one, Being the motivation for one is better than none.
Be remembered as a thought of hope, Be remembered by those who struggle to cope.
Don’t be just another face, be a rhyme, Be the soothing sound of a quickening chime.
Be the fire to someone’s soul, Be the reason they once again gain control.
Be the essence of that which we need most, Be that hand of hope and of abundance the host.
Be a tower of power and a symbol of strength, Be the help that’s needed within arm’s length.
Be the leader and be the teacher, Be a blessing to your reader and of motivation to the preacher.
Be that which makes life sweeter, be someone’s treasure, Be the smile and be the compassion that knows no measure.

You only have to be better than yesterday.
That’s it! You only have to be better than you were yesterday. Progress, not perfection. If you learn one new thing each day, then by the end of the year, you will learned 365 new things!
How will you be remembered? Not by words, but by memory. You will be remembered when you are a helper and a problem solver. People have needs, and tiny acts of kindness cost us nothing.
But being kind does not mean being weak, confusion is often made. Being kind and humble are the cornerstones of greatness. But you must never confuse someone’s kindness with weakness.
I know we cannot help everyone, but we can at least try. If you cannot help, then just a simple word or act of kindness will suffice. Hope is a very powerful thing, and people tend to remember those who gave them hope!
We are all climbing the same mountain.
Life is a journey, not a contest and we are basically all on the same mission, to survive by any means necessary. That is what our lives have come down to, like it or don’t. We are all just surviving.
Not all of us are truly living. There is a huge difference between living and staying alive. If you’re fortunate enough to be “living”, then be kind to those who are just “staying alive”.
Being on the same mission, I say why not build a squadron? We can have the professionals guiding the beginners, and before we know it, we are all making a little money online with writing.
That is why I say, “Be More Than Just A Face!”, be someone’s helping hand. No matter how small. Many tiny acts of kindness can result in a massive shift in the way we think and perceive each other.
