Be in the Moment

I had an occasion to participate in one of my favorite past times. As I observed people, I noticed that there seemed to be a common thread woven in their interactions. Most people were not in tune with their communication and they were not in the moment. Most were half listening, oblivious to the answers they were given and forging conversations that they were mostly having with themselves. It is no wonder that we find our interactions less meaningful, unproductive and lacking in authenticity. We are all interwoven in one big tapestry. We touch one another in some way and something is imparted. When we fail to engage fully in the moment, we mis-communicate and sever the purpose of our existence. We truly need each other to survive.
