BB & Tills
Sparked by a ripple of Silver Lining — tagged by the lovely Holly Jahangiri

BB & Tills
Little Miss Five and little Miss Three
My daughters, both as unique as can be
Playing, fighting and laughing till bed
No classrooms today, it’s life learning instead
A book to read, a painting to paint,
Lego to build and baking with complaint
A cubby to build, a puzzle and board game too
Talking away using imagination or to argue
A sisterly bond growing stronger by the day
Less freedom is the only price I pay
To secure my front row seat
To a show that can never repeat
Suffering realised, much gratitude to the brave
Those helping to keep us from an early grave
My only antidote to the tears to be cried
BB & Tills, my silver lining for staying inside
I have a habit of opening up a heap of tabs for things I want to read for the day. I get lost in a mix of notifications, responses and new articles..energies of new writers. I open more as I go. A labyrinth of precious words I hope to get through.
When I got to the tab containing Holly’s words, I was happily reading and having a a giggle when I noticed she had tagged me.
My first thought was ahhhhhh! But then I realised the nudge was a silver lining in itself. I can very happily lose myself in consuming all the precious words others have written before I realise it’s the end of the day…and while I have written, it is not beyond my appreciative responses.
Sooooo, back to the point, thank you Holly and Sherry and all the others involved in this ripple for giving me the kick in the butt I needed to write! I truly appreciate it and each and everyone of you..the readers, the writers, the candle stick makers.
While writing this my beloved desktop gave a blue screen of nothing… which is why there are random dots above my picture ….perhaps my labyrinth was too much for it this time, something that will distract my attention for a while….maybe another silver lining to come forth?!
Also… it was intentional that I didn’t tag anyone..I would end up tagging all 700 odd people I follow… so instead I will leave it as an open invitation to anyone reading to take the nudge and write about their silver lining.
