BARE: Uncensored Poetry

30/30 Project Day#7: One Mind

Michael Dziedzic on Unsplash

ONE MIND

One Consciousness

With different sets of shoes

Searches hidden maps from time now lost.

The Mind seeks determination

And decades of wisdom

quickly loads,

Creating flutes beyond compare.

Thin if single, full when complete

One orchestra, many instruments.

A chrysalis of singularity,

Pragmatic distributed ecology

Revealed in liturgy and paper.

Determined font

Defined file naming conventions

Articulated mission

Shared vision.

This is an unedited first draft for Day#7 of the 30/30 Project for Tupelo Press.

Over the next 30 days, I will write a poem daily. This process highlights the iterative nature of the craft, peeling back the curtains that can act as barriers.

If you would like to get a behind-scenes peak into the themes, research and experience I draw on when writing, please drop me a note in the comments below.
