Spring Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Nature Art”

Six parts patience, two parts rock.

This was not a success on the first try. It was a windy day. The first stacks blew down before I snapped the picture. My patience (and this challenge) brought me back to try again, and again. (Maybe a few more agains, but who is counting!?)

I believe these rocks had been stacked in the past, as I found them in a pattern that seemed to be yelling:

“We’ve fallen, and we can’t get up!”

This sandy tree-filled area used to be part of the creek, I believe. That is how I explain the abundance of river rocks in this space near the creek. Don’t be surprised if you see more nature art creations from this very spot! My creativity has been sparked! The possibilities are endless.
