Balance
Wrapped in glowing ivies all powerful and glorious her ivies crawl through the dry earth giving life to the lifeless, power to the powerless, protection to the unprotected, love to the ones who have never been loved but it’s only a matter of time when her glow fades.
The ivies as dry as the earth they crawled through brittle bones, shrivelled body, heart’s a soft white pearl. She’s waning, they’re waxing into pearls , in shades of blue, gray, pink, cream, champagne, lavender, purple, green but one of them is a tahitian pearl as dark as the deepest depths of the ocean she devours love, happiness, peace scatters broken pearls like dust.
They still sing her song with bitter tears and drink out of the well of misery so they shall live till the water runs dry, till fire has consumed all life giving jewels, buildings are weather beaten with no hearts of pearls in them.
