Bad days happen
There seems to be no objective reason why you can do so little today. You’re healthy, you’ve slept enough, you’re not stressed. Yet you still can’t accomplish anything. How should you deal with that?
If someone asks you if you realize that humans are not robots, you probably say, “Of course.”
We all know we’re not machines. Yet we expect to function the same way every day under the same circumstances.
If we don’t function in the same way we wish, we immediately begin to investigate the cause. We want to repair ourselves like a broken toaster.
But is this the right approach?
How to cope better with days of diminished performance you can read in my article How to cope with weak days.
