Backwater Publications.

A peaceful place, time stops, mind relaxes, pen pauses.

My summer beach, family times, echoes of memories. Picture by John Rose.

Inspired by memories, Small quiet rural town in childhood, Industrious folk strong community supporting each other, Traditional Australian backwater town, Off beaten track.

Sometime 2024 planning to move, Small coastal village north of Sydney, Staying near family, LED Garden comes too, Plenty of solar power.

Plant out my 12 silver gums growing strong, Dragon trees touching apartment ceiling potted in large verandah terracotta, Start veggie garden, Graft my bitter orange trees with future fruit trees harvested by grandkids.

Just thinking about new simpler life brings me joy.
