Baby Blue
Poetry prompt response: blueberries
Dear baby blue, Remember the fun we once had In my teenage years, when my knees were still true
Memories are flooding back Of the marathons, we used to run Oh how I dashed in front of the pack
And stopped by your fruitful bush, When I thought no eyes could see Your succulent tenderness pushed me on for another mile
I’m only in my early twenties, but both my knees are bad. A very short lived athletic dream. Anyways, thank you for reading and a big thank you to Lucy (the eggcademic), her prompt is ‘blueberries’. Feel free to participate, here’s her piece.
