AWS CloudShell Scrolling Bug

Scrolling in vi on a MAC doesn’t work correctly

When using VI in AWS CloudShell on a MAC scrolling doesn’t work properly when using a MAC touchpad and a Chrome browser.

On a Mac, if you use the up and down arrows from within vi, scrolling works fine. You an hit the up arrow until you reach the top of the file. You have to make sure you click on the file in the browser if the UI is not focused on that window.

On a Mac you can use two fingers to scroll up and down. If you try to use that method to scroll up in AWS CloudShell, it will show you random bits of other files or information stored…somewhere. I didn’t get into this too much because I’m just trying to get thigns done.

I would love if this one could get fixed so I can scroll to the top of the file with the touchpad.
