Awareness | Jennifer Dale

Awareness, Do You Have It?

You don’t need to attach yourself to your experience, you can just simply observe it.

What is Reality?

Your interpretation of your experience is what forms your beliefs and your beliefs are what create your reality. Your reality then reinforces what you believe. The world will always nourish your beliefs regardless if they’re good or bad. That is why it’s so important to be aware of them. Awareness, in general, comes very gradually so I want to offer all of you to slow down and look around yourself. The moment you start drifting into future daydreams, you start to sacrifice energy that you could be tapping into right now. Think about that for a minute and really let it sink in.

I genuinely believe that it’s essential to set goals for your future self because life is about growth and self-actualization. If you think the future will bring you more happiness because of the circumstances you’re in though, you’ve missed the point of awareness. You’ll grow your money, you’ll grow your material possessions but inside you’ll still keep feeling like you’re tied to something.

Try This

I want you to try to start your day by asking yourself these simple but powerful questions instead of rolling over and looking at your phone. This will start to transcend all the noise and clutter in your life and in your head. One thing to remember when doing this is you don’t need to know the answers. These answers will be revealed to you in synchronicity. They’re not something you can search for but instead will come to you in divine moments. Bring life to these questions every morning so you can start to practice your awareness. Don’t focus on answering them if you aren’t able to.

Who am I, who wants to know the question of who am I?

What is my purpose?

What do I want for me and the world?

What am I grateful for?

You’re Having a Human Experience

Now, I’m going to get a little deep here. Sooner or later you’ll start to be aware of what’s on the screen of your consciousness. After you’re aware that you’re able to do this, you’ll then realize that you’re the watcher and what’s happening on the screen of your consciousness isn’t who you are.

I’ve mentioned this before in regards to emotions. Can you watch yourself be happy? For example, when you’re experiencing happiness, are you able to go beyond your circumstance for just a minute and look down and around and watch yourself? When you’re angry, is some part of you free of anger? When you can let go of your ego identity and your attachment to what you’re experiencing, you start to live in another identity that is so much bigger and it’s what brings enlightenment and self-actualization. This is your spiritual being.

Create Separation

You don’t need to attach yourself to your experience, you can just simply observe it. When you can get there, the realization sets in that you have infinite possibilities and aren’t ruled by patterns of nerves, images, triggers, emotions, and thoughts. I know it doesn’t feel good to be at the mercy of every stranger on the street. I want you to get to a place where you aren’t.

True suffering comes from not knowing true reality; confusing conceptual reality with foundation reality, grasping and clinging to things you can’t grasp or cling to, the construct of the ego, and the fear of death. Once you realize that the world is a construct, that you’re not the mind, you’re not the body, you’re not the intellect, you’re the observer, what are you left with? You’re left with a formless, infinite, dynamic field of infinite possibilities, infinite creativity, infinite love, and the source of intention. True reality is understanding that the mind, body, and universe are in your spiritual being; that you’re a spiritual being having a human experience.

Take Care

We’re so responsible for our well-being in this human experience. When witnessing the body, only five percent of gene mutation accounts for disease. All other illness depends on how you live your life. You can’t change your human genes because you received them from your parents. You can change their activity though with very simple practices such as good sleep, movement, stress management, yoga, diet, and prana (breath). I want you to take care of your mind and body through intentional action so you can live a more abundant human experience.

Final Words

When you can get into the habit of self-reflection, you realize you’re just taking a picnic called the human experience. This is your ticket to freedom. If you ever find yourself stressed or out of alignment stop everything and ask yourself this one question “Am I Aware?”. This will bring you right back to the present and you’ll realize your human experience just arises and subsides and it’s completely ok. You don’t need to be attached to it but you can nourish it with beliefs and actions that serve you while you’re here.
