Awakening to the Notion I am.
At the start of my spiritual journey, I struggled to comprehend the essential concept of I am. This belief was challenging for me to grasp since accepting this belief in its entirety would completely recreate my perspective surrounding the many meanings of life. Though difficult to comprehend, I feel this idea needs to be understood since it facilitates spiritual development and understanding of New Earth Consciousness.
Once the meaning of I am is deciphered by its user, this mantra assists in awakening to the realization of universal consciousness and our connection to Source. I figured if I was struggling to understand this concept of spirituality, other human beings must be struggling as well. Now that I have some grasp on this concept, I wanted to share my understanding in hopes to help promote your ascension into a higher state of being. In this article, I hope to provide you with a general understanding of this concept and perhaps even resolve some conflict that prevents you from resonating with this notion. Before we begin to breakdown, this concept, let me provide some background information regarding this mantra.
I am is translated from the words So Hum from the Vedas texts, which means I am that. That refers to all that is, which is Source, God, or the Universe. The mantra I am also relates to the concept that human beings are not separate entities from Source yet, we are Source merely experiencing ourselves through a human being’s eyes.
Now that a “definition” is provided let’s expand on this idea by analyzing how this mantra facilities the understanding and acceptance of universal consciousness and humanity’s current conscious shift into the fifth dimension. Let us also examine how this mantra breaks us away from the physical matrix.
This mantra is an exceptional tool since it promotes its user to conclude that we human beings are apart of a greater collective entity or consciousness. Through this phrase, we can transcend our individuality and reconnect to Source. By utilizing this mantra, you being to fathom the following statement: I am that, I am that which is everything and nothing, I am the Universe. Since this mantra reinforces and reconnects us to our higher self or state of being, it can quite literally serve as a means of transportation into the fifth dimension. Existing in a fifth-dimensional state of consciousness dwindles down to reawakening to this notion that we are a collective entity (One). The collective entity being Source or God.
Furthermore, in the fifth dimension, we acknowledge our role as individuals and act in accordance by spreading love and light since we reawakened to our higher self and incorporated the will of the Universe into our personal free will. In other words, by transcending your individuality and reconnecting with Source, you reawaken back into your individual form, acting in harmony with the will of the Universe. The will of the Universe being to act in a manner that radiates love and dissipates negativity. In our current timeline, many human beings are awakening to this realization of I am and are shifting their conscious vibration from the third dimension to the fifth dimension.
I perceive this mantra as yet another tool or modality available to help expedite our individual ascension into higher states of being. Now you can see why I believe how incorporating I am into your core essence can assist your personal ascension into a higher state of consciousness thus becoming fully realized in the fifth dimension.
In the previous paragraph, it is quite evident that I Am plays a significant role in understating our planet’s current shift in consciousness. If this mantra serves as a blanket statement that helps promote understanding of our planetary evolution of consciousness, how come more humans are not incorporating this mantra into their spiritual practice? I now want to dissect my prior existing belief systems that served as an obstacle that prevented me from resonating with I am in hopes of answering the previously stated question.
For starters, if you were to read the mantra, I am merely seeing I am does not explain the mantra’s deeper context. I provided you with a more in-depth explanation of the mantra; however, the description I provided took months for me to truly understand and articulate. The barriers that prevented me from accepting and comprehending this mantra were fear, lack of temporal knowledge, and preexisting belief systems regarding the meaning of life.
At the start of my spiritual awakening, there was a lot of fear and anxiety that I was producing in response to my changing perspectives. It was like I saw the world for the first time for what it truly is, which frightened me since it was fresh and out of my comfort zone. Fear most certainly held my energy back at the beginning of my journey because I did not feel like I was ready to experience an awakening. There were even points where I felt as though I was mentally ill for thinking all of the thoughts that were racing through my mind. Honestly, irrational fear is such a stupid emotion, and I firmly believe that fear is so rampant since it is a means the matrix uses to keep us in a lower state of being. Fear almost battelled me back into submission, but now that I see, there was no way I could return to who I was. I was fearful of accepting the reality of I am because by accepting its truth, it would go against my personal beliefs and the beliefs society has instilled within me.
Accepting I am for its deeper context meant that I accepted that God is not an external force. Coming to that realization was momentous and quite frankly necessary to understand the inner workings of our planetary shift in consciousness. My firm belief system that was rooted in the Christian religion and its theology was shattered beyond repair. Growing up in a very church forward family suppresses your ability to stay in tune with the energies of the Universe. Anything that is seen in an unholy light is punished and locked away out of the conscious mind. I feel that the church deems specific higher dimensional modalities as evil to keep us locked in a lower state of consciousness.
When I started to reawaken, I felt as though I was satanic since everything I began to explore was seen in a negative light in the church’s teachings. I was holding on to my antiquated perspectives because I was scared that by accepting New Earth Consciousness, I would lose touch with God. I was also afraid that I would be deemed to spend eternity in the fiery pits of hell since I was going against the teachings of the church. In a way, “I am” did make me lose touch with God but only the picture of the false God that was instilled in my mind from birth up. Pushing past my fear, I have recreated a loving image of God, and I know now that I could never lose touch with Source since our connection is not so external. Once I shifted my perspective that life comes from an internal source, not an external one, I began to understand my role in creating more of it.
Let us also note the role society plays in reinforcing the idea that power cannot come from within. Society has made it so that everyone turns to find help in an external source. For example, you feel that your nose is too big, then you went ahead and found “beauty” with plastic surgery. You relinquished your inner power through that choice since you couldn’t find comfort with loving your beautiful big nose for what it was. They wanted you to turn outwards for help so that you could not introspect and discover the power within. Society does this in literally a million different ways, which are all geared towards keeping you asleep to the realization of I Am. Society also sets us up to basically learn nothing about spirituality, so we literally have no knowledge to help us accept the mantra I Am. We spend hours of class time learning how to diagram a sentence when we could be learning about something useful like the Chakra system.
Accepting the truth meant I had to metaphorize into an entirely new human and quite practically kill the old me, which no longer serves me in my current state of existence. I had to become the Shepard and break away from the flock of sheep that were mindlessly existing in the matrix that was designed to imprison. Once I finally moved past my fear and realized that love triumphs over all, I was able to truly believe in the power of I am. Recreating your self-image is no easy feat, but that is the nature of a spiritual awakening. As you can see, there are so many things that served as obstacles that prevented my ability to accept the notion of I am. I am sure that some of them also served as obstacles or are still serving as obstacles for you, which are preventing your ability to resonate with this notion.
A spiritual awakening is so hard because you have to push through every barrier that kept you asleep. We live in a world designed to keep you numb, so the obstacles we experience are quite vast. I asked previously, “If this mantra serves as a blanket statement which helps promote understanding of our planetary shift of consciousness, how come more humans are not incorporating this into their spiritual practice?”. I think you can now understand why it’s not such a common phrase since by accepting its truth, you become reimagined. Becoming aware of I Am takes time and perseverance, but now that you are aware of its core meaning and it is brought to your attention, you can hopefully use it to shatter your obstacles .

Finally, let’s take some time to work through this mantra. Place your hands on your heart center and relax into the feeling. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and focus on the meaning of I am. Transcend your individual being and breathe positivity in and breathe out positive energy energizing the Universe that surrounds you. Release all fear and doubt that have been holding you back and step into the light. Open your eyes and feel your connection to Source radiate within you. Radiate that love everywhere that you go and spread forth love and light to all. Thank you for reading, and I hope this article has helped facilitate your spiritual development.
Peace, Love, and Light. Frankie ❤
