Autumn’s Golden Gown
The Enchanting Elegance
In the tender embrace of the year’s twilight cheer,
When the trees ignite, all ablaze, bold and clear,
Leaves whirl and twirl in the crisp, playful air,
Dancing through the canvas of days, remarkably fair.
Some perceive this season as a melancholy demise,
A time when the year, weary and old, quietly lies.
Yet, I envision a lady, in her prime, so bold,
Adorned in her magnificent, shimmering dress of gold.
She weaves her magic, spreading it far and wide,
Coloring her domain, where vibrant hues reside.
With a palette of reds, golds, and amber she sees,
She crafts a symphony, singing through the rustling trees.
A jubilant dance, she performs with elegant grace,
Twirling, she leaves traces of color, a warm embrace.
Before she retreats to her slumber, serene and deep,
To awaken in Spring, where new promises she’ll keep.
In her awakening, she’ll don a gown, girlishly green,
To dance and sing amidst blossoms, a sight to be seen.
But for now, she basks in her golden, autumnal bliss,
Celebrating the moments, in a warm, sunlit kiss.
She whispers to the pumpkins, ripe and robust,
And caresses the apples with a sweet, fragrant gust.
Through orchards and meadows, her fingers gently sweep,
Ensuring every nook is touched by her colors, bold and deep.
Her golden gown rustles, whispering tales of yore,
Of harvests, of thanksgiving, of abundance in store.
She bestows upon us a bounty, rich and replete,
Where memories and moments, warmly and sweetly, meet.
In this enchanting elegance, let our spirits take flight,
Embracing the beauty that dances in the soft autumn light.
For the lady in gold, with her charm so divine,
Weaves a tapestry of memories, in every shade and line.
Lost in the sun rays?
Find solace in more tales of the soul.
Your claps echo in my quiet.
