OK, guys, Prime Day is upon us, and I have some things to show you. I have my hands in many pots, and I forgot to mention it, but about a month ago, I became an Amazon Influencer! Kinda cool, right?! Except, I haven’t had much time to really look into the program to find out what it offers and how I can use it to help add value to the lives of others. Until now!

Remodeling, Rebuilding, and Rebranding

Although I’m an open book, I typically stay silent about my story until I’m at least ready to turn the page. So, partial disclosure: this has literally been one of the most difficult years of my life. In addition to serious professional and personal issues, my place also got remodeled, which means I literally had to move everything in my home two different times. Stressed out is an understatement, chile.

At this point, I’m still partially living out of boxes and trying to gain the energy to make substantial changes in my life. Nevertheless, on the bright side, I love shopping, and I’m finding so many cool things to upgrade my indoor aesthetic and my workspace. And the more I research and make my to-do lists, I realize that these things matter much more than I realized.

As a creative, your surroundings can fuel or drain you. This is especially true when you are experiencing times of turmoil. These days, I find that I’m incredibly creative in some places but get stressed and shut down in others. So, I’ve started searching for products that help boost my innovation and make me feel like creating.

This has led me back to actively practicing mindfulness — which includes coloring books, self-help books, journals, fun signs, adorable decor, and more.

And since it’s Prime Day, I decided to compile some of the dopest products I’ve seen on Amazon lately — many of which I purchased or have sitting in my cart as we speak.

Either way, I, like most creatives, am a “grown a** kid.” Shoutout to Kanye for that saying.

I just love staring at things that are unique, colorful, and whimsical. Although this is definitely one of the hardest periods I’ve ever experienced, I’m also having fun reimagining what my life can be moving forward. And I am almost never not up for a shop therapy session. Yes, the double negative is important.

Incidentally, not to get all sentimental, but thank you so much for all the support, follows, hand claps, tips, and shares you guys have been sending my way as of late! On some days, my Medium community has been the only bright spot on an otherwise dim canvas.
