Astrologically, Violated: Cult of the Lamb, DNA of the Cosmic Ages
I created a cult, here’s the Astrology of how…

Lately as I look around at everything going on in life I notice there are people that are terrified of the Age of Aquarius? I mean this may be the ignorance of my Scorpionic allegiance with life transformation that I signed up for, agreeing not to complain…but why? It’s practically in our DNA as human beings to evolve, but it seems some people are against the natural progression of our species. Against things that happen literally every single day on the microcosm. Or maybe not so much against, as they are horrified by it. I get it. The unknown is uncomfortable as fuck, even though it’s where we find our super powers. When you’re in the dark you can only take so many steps before you reach some sort of earth shattering realization you’ve maybe not gone the way life is asking you to go, but how is this your fault when you can’t flipping see? As I discussed in one of my very first and favourite articles on the Age of Aquarius, (also on a 2 part episode on my men’s podcast. Fellas, check it out — Pt.1, Pt2) there are certain people who have a more difficult time adapting to this shift we are seeing in the world, this new energy and new era that some coin “The New World Order.” These are the same individuals who are more likely to use the words “evil” and “dark” without extracting the understanding of its profound necessity. Discussing the Age of Aquarius (or AOA) is one of my favourite topics. It’s so fascinating, and it was one of the reasons why I started my podcast, it’s also probably why I became so invested in Astrology.
Dissecting why certain people have been waiting for this moment all their lives and why others think we’re in the “last days” or the “end of times” are really interesting perspectives that both resonate with me personally. What is the astrology behind the way in which you and I view the Age of Aquarius or the Age of Pisces (the era of mankind that we are currently departing from) so differently? It’s sort of like blood types. You have: Type A, Type B, Type AB and Type O. Personally, I think I am definitely Type AB for “All in, All for it! BUT…” and some people are Type B for “Blasphemous I say!” I created a cult a couple of weeks ago and so I’m really into blood right now *grins innocently.* “Cult of the Lamb” is indie game developer Massive Monster’s latest offering and as I’m playing through, I’m discovering a take on the current astrological ages at play that’s helping me understand our times better. While researching the DNA of this game, this became more and more apparent and I definitely see both sides of why the times we are living in is so frightening but at the same time, exhilarating. It’s the era of gnosis versus the era of blissful ignorance. Some people have more gnosis coursing through their veins and naturally have an affinity for these times of artificial insanity and gender neutrality, while others have more ignorance, which can be a double edge sword and a shield for the harsh reality of the world, and the inhumanity that exists in it. These experiences are both two sides of the same freedom coin. In any case like I was saying on Twitter, since I just can’t put my Switch down..
This is Cult of The Lamb… Astrologically, Violated.

blood type 🅰️ —A blast from the past with Jupiter Retrograde
So… What makes Cult of the Lamb, Cult of the Lamb? One of the first things I noticed about Cult of the Lamb is that its Mercury is in Virgo up in the 10th house. Mercury rules Virgo, so automatically this makes for a game that is going to be talked about because Mercury represents our communication, media, divisiveness, opinions, associates (and to some extent video games, specifically skills and hand-eye coordinations.) Mercury is also our lower mind while Jupiter is our higher mind, which it why it rules things like faith or religion. But there is another game that shares this same Mercury placement although in the opposite sign, The Legend of Zelda.

They both share the commonality of good vs evil or duality which is exactly what Mercury is being a genderless planet. The Jupiter in Aries Retrograde though is what’s really striking. Essentially, retrogrades are periods of time when we are to go back and revisit or redo something. In this case, Cult of The Lamb borrows elements from the past Age of Aries, taking us back to the barbaric time period of approx. 2150 BCE — 1 CE. Jupiter being the ruler of this entire chart, game, and the rising sign a.k.a. the character we experience the game through, (located on the center far left where “AC” is marked) Lambs are ruled by Aries. *mind exploding sound effect*
blood type 🅱️ — Christianity Parallels: The crucifixion of Jesus
In the Age of Aries there was one significant event that ushered us into our common era or the Age of Pisces, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ who was also known “The Lamb of God.” This is almost reenacted in the opening scene of the game in such a brilliant malevolent way that for Christians, would be anger-inciting. But as we can see, this is the Age of Aquarius at play, coating the story we know in ominous and elegant pixilated visuals on my OLED screen where all I could do was shake my head at the blatant paradox of it all. People have been doing these “Jesus parodies” for decades now at this point, and in all areas of life from entertainment, music, sports, politics, cartoons etc. I personally think it’s a testament to how we shouldn’t hold any belief too rigidly to the point where we become a slave to it. To me, Cult of the Lamb is honest about our beautiful misguidance when seeking the truth, finding purpose in life and exploring what and who “God” really is. It can often feel like you are manipulating others or building faith on a foundation of lies-which is represented by another main character of the game- because the truth may be too painful or scary to face.
blood type 🆎— The, erm… Arpisquarius Age: A fusion of the Aries, Pisces and Aquarius ages
So after the Age of Aries, we had our age, the Age of Pisces (well, if you are alive right now reading this in 2022) and now we are in-between the end of Pisces and the beginning of the AOA where the energy acts like a melding pot of both ages. This whole process takes approx. 2000ish years for the shift of an age. Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the planet of illusions, dreams, and fantasy. It’s like +- 2000 years, we fell into a dream-like state. Love, different languages, drugs, music, sex, parties, space exploration, scattered beliefs and then boom Aquarius wakes you up. Who… the HELL…is trying to wake up from all that fun?…Once I get into all 12 signs you won’t blame them for wanting stay in dreamland. Cult of the Lamb blends the violent Age of Aries, with the surreal connectedness of the Age of Pisces and the bizarre, frankensteinian “these two shouldn’t even go together” Age of Aquarius all into one piece of technology. A video game, which are both under the energy of Aquarius and its planetary ruler, Uranus.
blood type 🅾️ —Houses full of red wool
So I wanted to look at which zodiac houses are really significant to cults in particular. We have the 7th House which governs things like relationships, partnerships and contractual agreements. The 8th, which is our occult experiences and interest in mysticism. The 12th house which speak to spirituality, altered states of consciousness, the conception of God and the interconnectedness of all life and the 9th house.
The 9th house is about philosophy, cultures, long-distance travel, politics, astrology, life-long learning, higher education, and cults are actually governed under the 9th house, because of the association with religion and religious fanaticism. Naturally, having a belief in something is necessary for a cult to even take form, this house is also associated with our beliefs, dogmas and even law.
The ruler of the 7th House is that Mercury we talked about earlier, powerfully in the 10th house which by the way is the game’s public perception.
The 8th house contains a pretty powerful Venus at the end of the sign of the nurturer, Cancer. Venus tends to bring blessings to wherever it is, so it bring joy in indulging in other-wisely darker subject matter, which is the reason I have no problem killing the “old faith” to make sure my flock and “The One Who Waits” are being taken care of.
The 12 house is ruled by Mars who is located in the 6th house neighbouring Uranus, the modern planet that oversees the AOA. Both these planets in the sign of Taurus bringing quick material success and also creating a video game with themes of religion, tarot, and occultism from our past human history, indoctrinating you into wild fun that you pretty much can get lost in.
