ASLEEP at the Wheel

And CRUEL to boot!

I thought it was time to come up with a few acronyms to describe MAGA Republicans since they have started weaponizing (God I hate that term!) WOKE.

So this will be short and sweet.

I’ll start out with a simple premise.

Being awake is a good thing. As in I was sleeping and then I woke up.

You’ve regained consciousness.

That’s a good thing.

Especially when you’re in the driver’s seat.

Because if you’re driving and you fall asleep, Whoa, that’s definitely looking for trouble.

MAGA Republican congressional representatives have been holding this country hostage since President Biden was inaugurated into office.

Which kinda puts them in the driver’s seat.

And IMHO they’re ASLEEP at the wheel.

• A- they’re anti- everything below
• S- anti-Semitic. White, Male Christians should be in charge of everything.
• L- anti-LGBTQ+2 and any other kind of gender fluidity
• E- anti-Equality for women, blacks, immigrants and you name it.
• E- anti-Egalitarian. They don’t want a multicultural diverse society that embraces the strengths of other ways of knowing. Or if you want, they’re anti-Education. They promote censorship and book burning. Ever read 1984 by George Orwell? He was off by 40 years but right on the money.
• P- anti-Progress in any way, shape or form if it has anything to do with interrupting the profitable ventures of megacorporations that already bring in billions of dollars of profit every year and give it all to the management while contributing to climate change and economic inequality.

And since I’m in such a good mood, I thought I’d also award them another acronym- CRUEL.

• Callously ignore any attempts to
• Restore equality across the economic spectrum or address climate change using
• Unscrupulous means to keep opponents from removing them from office and the power it grants them which they use to keep dodging
• Evil events such as mass shootings that needlessly end human
• Life. And they get Livid any time you confront them about this claiming the right to own weapons of mass destruction is their Constitutional right while shooting down all the other rights that they don’t agree with in said Constitution.

So yup, they’re CRUEL.

ASLEEP at the wheel and CRUEL. It’s time they WOKE up, dontcha think!?
