Ascension Guidance | Dark Night of the Soul & Your Power of Choice

You have a choice to stay stuck in the darkness and you have a choice to move through it.

The light that shines in you is expanding.

As you confront the 3D darkness and density that comes up for release, remember this about yourself:

You have a choice to stay stuck in the darkness and you have a choice to move through it.

The darkness and density we speak of is what some call the dark night of the soul.

Usually those spiritually advancing on their path have many dark nights of the soul throughout their lives. A period where you are questioning a major aspect of your existence. A hermit phase that requires you to take an indepth look at how you are living your life and why. This is an experience that is part of their soul’s evolution to let go of trauma, karma, and fear-based values that keep them from living the life their soul intended for the this incarnation.

As a collective, these periods are coming on stronger and more frequently.

For those unfamiliar with dark nights of the soul, it is when one reaches a point in their journey where they are dismantling the conditioning and untruths of their life to make a way for more knowing and authenticity.

From a psychological point of view, this is the lead up to one’s breakthrough.

For this is a period in which an individual ventures deep within to face their inner shadows. This is where an individual faces the false beliefs and fear-based structures of their 3-D lives.

Once an individual confronts this darkness and density, this untruth, the individual must decide what to do with this knowing.

And so the dark night of the soul begins.

The dark night of the soul is a phase where the individual must acknowledge the untruths they’ve been living with and unclasp there hold in every aspect of their life. The “breakthrough” is when the individual makes their decision to let go, accept the integration of this new path they’ve created for themself, and move forward on their soul’s adventure of discovery and enlightenment.

For example, if you were taught you were unworthy because of (insert reason here) at a young age, that unworthiness grows to be one of the pillars in which you have built your life on until adulthood. When you do your shadow work and discover that being told you were unworthy was a lie and a projection of that persons insecurity and not yours, when you accept this new revelation as authentic truth, the pillar of unworthiness collapses and rocks the foundations of how you’ve built your life. Once the pillar of unworthiness collapses, you have generated a new path for yourself to begin anew and venture forth on a higher timeline without this obstacle of unworthiness.

The dark night of the soul is the dismantling of this untruth and all that it has shaped in your life — in your relationships, in your career, and what you believe brings you joy. Oftentimes, this is a time where one has a complete lifestyle change, ending relationships, no longer feeling connected to what you used to like to do and enjoy, etc.

The dark nights of the soul differ for each individual, one can have infrequent but major shifts or one can have several mini ones. There is no better way, it just is and it is unique to one’s human experience.

And after this feeling of darkness, depression, and confusion, you will see that hindsight is 20/20 and this dense period was a highly pressurized transformative chrysalis phase, and depending what you decide to do with your revelations, you will become a transformed butterfly or remain cocooned in stagnancy until you are ready.

Dark nights of the soul happen throughout one’s life, however, in this ascension timeline, as a humanity you all are going through internal shifts together at the same time even if it doesn’t look like it.

You chose to live in a time where humanity as a whole will work through a dark night of the soul as a collective to release inauthentic systemic values, beliefs, and unsustainable life practices that are keeping humanity in the 3D. This doesn’t mean that all of humanity will choose to let go of the 3D way of life and ascend, in fact, we are reaching a point in the ascension timeline where it will become clear which souls are choosing to stay in the 3D and which souls are choosing to ascend. This is a time where more will be aware of their power of choice in the Great Shift of Mother Earth — whether to join her or not.

We tell this to you now because many feel lost when they are moving and wading through the density of the 3D to make it to the other side. Understandably it is difficult and confusing because not only are you going through your own individual experiences, but you are also taking on the energy work for the collective, as well, to help inform humanity of Mother Earth’s question to them — will they join her in the Great Shift into the 5D or not?

Confronting the density and darkness can make you feel stuck, wherein fact, you are being presented with the opportunity to acknowledge this feeling of stuckness and choose to let it go and move forward. Move through it.

To this, we’d like to remind you that the choice is yours.

This density and darkness does not have power over you.

We would like to remind you at this time, when many are reaching this point of the dark night of the soul path, where they can choose to continue to keep the old 3D beliefs and way of life or brave the unknown joy of an aligned path.

It is hard to let go of the known and familiar. The dense and heavy darkness of the dark night of the soul process is often a feeling of grief and mourning that has triggered your dark night of the soul because you know it must be let go, otherwise why would you be doing shadow work if you weren’t guided to and ready?

It is what we have been telling you throughout the year. Part of your remembrance is remembering you are a sovereign being who can choose the life they want and not live a defaulted life governed by the fear-based and the known expectations of the 3D. You just have to acknowledge which life values are authentically your own and which have conditioned you to society’s expectations.

With this message we remind you that you are Source energy. You are light itself and you can choose to shine your light on the shadow aspects of yourself and drive the darkness away to clear your vision — a vision that when it is cleared, will show you your authentic path and limitless potential in this life.

Claim your sovereignty and choose.

You can choose.

You have always had the power of choice.

Now contemplate on what areas of your life you are choosing to let the darkness overtake your view of life and simply practice to choose to see life’s offerings of abundance and blessings before you.

And allow your soul’s natural and pure blueprint to be expressed through you. Allow the true you to shine through and choose your light over the darkness and density.
