Aristotelian Logic was Murdered in America in 2016
A Text Exchange with a Small Business Shows How Americans are Opening the Gates to Hell.
I know the world is horrible and getting worse, but aren’t there limits to people’s spite and foolishness?
Classical Aristotelian logic, for example, must have been murdered in its sleep sometime in 2016. The following text exchange is just one example of many that shows the unfortunate demise of “consensus logic” in the United States:
I ordered furniture assembly service from Walmart for $89 plus taxes today. The following text exchange occurred shortly afterwards with the business that Walmart subcontracted the work out to:
Unknown texter: Hello
(3 hours later)
Unknown texter: Do you have time to assemble it tomorrow?
Me: Who is this?
Since I had contacted 4 different businesses, I wanted to make sure he was from Walmart and not trying to finagle away a service I had already paid Walmart to do.
Unknown texter: Your handyman
Me: From?
I occasionally get 20–25 spam calls a day. They try to sell me health insurance, solar panels, car insurance, mortgage insurance, and God knows what else. Again, I contacted 4 businesses earlier. I wanted to verify that he was the person I had already paid.
Unknown texter: Subcontracted from Wayfair (not Walmart) to assemble your couch on Xmas day! Never mind bro! You are clueless!
I’ve already had a fairly bad day by this point. Work is taking their sweet time fulfilling a request. A request that they are going to come back at me for at some later date and ask, “what took so long?”
I am also being ignored by a couple of other people I am trying to give money to. Being called “clueless bro” are words that could only be meant to incite me to murder for some asshole’s entertainment. Not to mention that the first person to use the word “bro” in their argument has been wrong 100% of the time to date. Trust me. I’ve been keeping track.
Me: from Wayfair? I ordered couch assembly service from Walmart. In any case, yes, tomorrow is perfect. What time?
Oh, never mind. Ignore my last message. I was still typing it when I received your insult. I will be requesting a different contractor. Preferably one who knows where his business is coming from, and someone who won’t insult me at first contact.
Then I blocked his number and contacted Walmart to request that the work be performed by a new subcontractor.
All the residences of Hell just love coming to the United States.
I know that all the entitled, selfish, shallow, and unthinking dark souls of Hell are incarnating at this time to make everyone else’s life just a bit more miserable, but do they ALL have to come into contact with me?
There was a time in the not too distant past when small businesses at least tried to stay in business.
There was also a time (well, maybe not so much in the United States) when people reflected on if what they said could possibly be misinterpreted, or if there could possibly be a reason they had not yet considered for someone to question the veracity of their claims.
It isn’t difficult to do. In fact, I have done it many, many times before.
I think it may be more difficult to assume that you always make perfect sense.
It’s harder to assume that your command of the English language is so superior that no one could possibly misunderstand anything you say. Of course that would require the people you are talking to be able to read your mind flawlessly. Specifically, you would have to believe that everyone lives in your mind, because you are just sooo interesting. Therefore, any misunderstanding of anything vague you say must be their fault.
This is the new logic of narcissistic America.
I don’t know why we replaced the old Aristotelian logic that worked very well for the last 2,384 years or so. Apparently, the idiots didn’t get it. I, for one, miss it greatly. I still use it.
I don’t care if American idiots have tossed it aside. I still know when my argument makes more objective logical sense despite the protestations and repeated insistence of morons like “handyman bro” above.
There was also a time not so long ago when a vast majority of the world’s population, including the population of the United States, could agree on which argument made more logical sense.
It’s only been a few short years since logic was murdered.
In fact, it has been less than 5 years since the new “narcissistic America logic” took over the country. It feels like an eternity. I have had too many exchanges similar to the one above.
Yes, the population of the United States has become so self-serving, so insecure, and so assumptive that their selfishness now works counter to their own self-interest.
It’s official. Americans are so short-sighted and lacking in the ability to reflect and think critically that they are shooting themselves and their own businesses in the foot.
They adamantly refuse to learn from their mistakes because they think they don’t make any.
They refuse to admit imperfection, which is quite ironic considering just how far from perfection they have drifted in 5 short years.
The fallacy of “everyone having their own truth” should collapse along with the rest of the country, if not sooner. You can believe that you breathe gold as fiercely as you like, but once you start to asphyxiate from a lack of oxygen, even an American ought to be able to admit their fallibility. Even Americans should take a step back from this insanity and see where it clearly has led us.
The residences of Hell brought their own perverted version of logic with them when they incarnated in mass together in the United States. Apparently, they were envious of what was a great country and had to destroy it from within. From where I sit, it looks like what is left of the “normal people” are outnumbered and out-shouted.
The damned have come this close to destroying the United States.
They aren’t about to stop now just because they are insane, lack humility and the ability to think logically. The United States will collapse. The world will enter a dark dystopia for no reason other than some people cannot control their own insatiable greed and selfishness.
This short text message exchange above is just one example of many like it that have occurred in numbers too great these past 5 years. It shows a clear example of how not to be human.
If we want more of this, then by all means, we should keep doing what we are doing. We should keep letting unreasonable dickthwapts like handyman bro keep and grow their businesses.
If, however, we have had enough and wish to reverse course closing the gates of Hell before worse souls with even more evil and malicious intent break through, then we need to call out these former-humans where we see them.
We need to resurrect Aristotle and his logic.
It is one of the best weapons we have to fight the scourge of narcissism that is more deadly than Covid-19 and spreading faster than the Omicron variant.
