Oracle Card for the day
Good News: If you’re already in a relationship, the upcoming days will be spectacular and if you’re single, go out and mask up, be safe, and say hello to some sexy people when you’re out and about.
The oracle cards today popped up Aphrodite — the goddess of love. That is exciting. I know I’m excited. I’m using an app on my phone today.
Aphrodite is a nice card to draw today.
Maybe the relationships I already have with some pretty sexy people will get even better, or maybe there’s something new in store. Ot, maybe a combination of the old and new getting together in a big love fest. Maybe after a vaccine is developed for COVID-19. I’m still a little wary about parties or other gatherings right now.
I’ve learned a little since being aware to the universe’s messages. The key is to keep your eyes open to what energy is coming your way and what is going on around you. Channel the good energy while letting the negative pass by like traffic on the main road. The good vibes can stay while the negative ones keep passing by without lingering.
Start with the simple daily goal of always taking great care of yourself.
You’re pretty spectacular just as you are.
Always remember that.
I grew up always hearing about all of my flaws, so I started to think I was hideous at a certain point. I don’t think the people in my life meant to put me down, but they didn’t know any better when offering ideas for improvement. When I decided I am okay as I am and ignored various suggestions about my appearance that was bothering others, I found they stopped bringing up the subject.
Society does the same thing to us. Especially with all the push to buy cosmetics. If you aren’t putting hundreds of dollars of product on your face monthly, then you’re doomed to look horrible, the marketing messages tell us. I ignore them and don’t let them bother me.
Ignore all the information society gives us that we need to do this or do that. It is designed to sell product by making us feel psychic pain which will be “relieved” when we buy whatever product is on sale. It doesn’t work, however.
Only we can truly realize the promise of Aphrodite in our own lives by loving ourselves by taking actions that show we love ourselves.
These days are actually pretty sweet for going minimalist. We’re all masked up, so it is actually pretty nice to be able to “hide” behind a mask.
In these days, smiling with your eyes is the skill you can develop. I know I’ve been noticing some nice eyes more these days. Send joy to others through your eyes. People will notice and smile. You’ll know, even if their mouth is protected with a mask.
So, know there is love out there for you.
Even if you don’t meet someone new, you can always show some nice love to yourself because you deserve it, gorgeous!
I love you, too.
So feel my love radiating our from me through the universe and over to you. It feels pretty nice doesn’t it. You can try sending some love my way too, if you want. I always enjoy feeling the good vibes you are sending my way and all around to everyone.
Check out my friends, Infiniti and Tree Langdon ♾️ who also write about oracle cards as well!
Some Thought Provoking “The Bad Influence” Reads I’ve Spotted Recently You Must Read
Glenda Thompson reminds of of the importance of taking care of your mental health in these trying times of lock-downs and uncertainty as the pandemic continues to affect the world. I am grateful Glenda wrote this powerful message for us as we work through these days.
Jessica Lee McMillan warns us sexy stock photos are a symbol of “capitalistic machine selling ideas at the cost of our creative energy.” I admit I am guilty of choosing sexy stock photography to get eyes on my pages. I like the picture I chose for this article, but I could have also used another one. Could I be perpetuating the objectification of women by doing so? I’ve even posted my own selfies which always attracts some readers, which could another symptom of the way our society causes us to commodify and objectify ourselves. Thanks for writing this Jessica and getting us thinking.
Em Unravelling writes about regret, the paths taken, what might have been and what the future brings from the lessons of our choices. Thanks for the powerful story, Em!
Darius Butkevicius says it is time to reclaim words and stop using so many emojis. This is another area where I’m guilty of slamming the unicorn 🦄 or heart 💗 emoji as a quick way to send “love” through the internet. Darius has me rethinking my emoji usage — or at very least made me more mindful of it. Thanks, Darius.
Modern American Parable?
I think it is. Take a read of Chelsea Rose’s article and let us know what you think. I think our whole system is designed to make us the turkeys. I could be wrong, though. The bull can be found right on Wall Street.
