Are You Prioritizing Your Creative Efforts?
If you’re not, your missing out

What is your goal as a creator? What is the most important things you could be doing to fulfill those goals? Are you actually doing those things?
I started asking myself these questions recently.
And when I answered them honestly, I realized I wasn't walking out the creative life that I wanted to be walking out.
What do I mean?
My goal as a creator is to self-publish books. Lots of them.
The most important things I could be doing to fulfill that goal is to be working on my books.
Yet, I spend more time on social media, blogging, and messing around with the latest and greatest writing fad.
So you see, I am not prioritizing my creative efforts.
What about you?
What are your goals as a creator? Is it to create $1,000 a month of passive income? Is it to become a best selling author? Is it to self-publish books? What are your goals?
How are you working toward your goals? Do you have deadlines for them? Are you spending time everyday doing the work?
What are you actually doing? Are you stuck in Twitter scroll? Do you write and write and write, but not creating toward your book or project?
I want to challenge you.
This month, I am really focusing on my book. I have a goal to finish the first draft for my next book before the end of the month.
The sad truth is that I had the same goal last month and failed. Yet, this month, I have a renewed vigor to make it happen. Especially since this new book I am working on has inspired me for another one after it.
Yet, for you, I want to challenge you to take the next 30 days and work on your project. Whatever it is, commit to at least 30 minutes everyday for 30 days and see what happens.
As part of the challenge, I would love for you to share in the comments below or write a post and share it with me on Twitter so I can share your project too!
So, what do you say? Want to make your project happen this month?
