Why is Everyone So Stuck?

The world today is full of distractions. As a result, people are struggling to focus on their work. There are so many distractions around them that pull them away from what they want to do.

One of the reasons why it is so hard for us to move forward in our lives or our careers is because we are too stuck in the past.

We have either created these memories to be the way they are, or other people have created them for us. Either way, they are only memories and they only exist inside our heads.

If you want to move forward, you need to let go of your past and all those things that keep dragging you back to it.

What Causes This State?

There are some causes for this, but the main one is the lack of commitment to making a change. The person may be afraid or unwilling to take any decisive action which would make a difference.

The next most common cause is external pressure from others in our life. For example, family and friends, who may not understand what we want out of life.

We may feel a sense of obligation to do something they want us to do. If we change our plans, rather than continue on with ours, this can cause a deep sense of frustration.

How Our Environment Affects Us

The earth’s climate has been changing for thousands of years.

It is not just the weather that is changing, but our environment and what it can do to us.

Our Belief Systems Cause Us To Be Stuck

The people who are most likely to be unhappy in their jobs are the people who feel stuck. These are the people who feel like they don’t have any other options than taking this job, even if it doesn’t make them happy.

This is a cycle that is hard to escape from. To break out of this kind of cycle requires making a plan. We need to question our beliefs about work and life and think about what else could make us happy.

Be Free & Follow Your Passions

Not feeling like you can think of anything to write about? Not sure where to start on a new project? These feelings are common and we’ve all been there.

But don’t worry!

How To be Unstuck and Get Back on Track:

1. Stop staring at your screen. Shut off your computer, turn off your phone, put it in another room, go outside for a walk, sit outside in nature. The point is that you want to remove anything that can distract you from focusing on getting unstuck.

2. When you’re done with step one, make sure you have an idea of what it is exactly that you want to write about before opening up any screens or devices.

Final Thoughts:

Are You Able to Let Go?

Creativity is one of your most important skills. There are many ways to get unstuck and there are also many ways to be creative.

Some people find it easier to let their mind wander when they are stuck on a problem. They might imagine that they are at the beach or sitting in their favorite chair. Others will start rearranging the furniture in their living room or move into another room.

The most important thing is not what you do when you’re stuck, but how you feel while doing it.

Keep yourself feeling good and your mind will eventually allow those creative juices to flow again.

Let it go and Let it Flow!
