are you human?

a poem and an existential crisis, apparently

are you human?

the CAPCHA box seems to tell me, no, for the true struggle that I have in proving such.

but to err, that is to be human, right?

to be flawed, imperfect.

she once told me she believed in God because she believed in perfection and so, God therefore had to exist.

I still don’t understand this, but make space to remember it still, because perhaps someday I will.

In the meantime, the only thing I get is the opposite: how to be imperfect is to be human.

#WritingPrompt: to be human is to be imperfect (or vice versa!)
