Are You Failing At What You Don’t Want To Be Doing?

It’s insane how many of our lives are a result of default choices

You can fail at what you don’t want to be doing. Imagine that…. So you might as well go for what you want. Chase your dreams!

People are failing at things they hate every day! Rather it is being fired from a dead-end job, failing classes in a college major that your parents want you to take, or trying to salvage a broken relationship with a horrific partner.

Why waste your damn time being miserable?

If you’re going to invest time and effort you might as well channel it towards your passions and dreams! If you’re going to fail let it be on your terms; it will make it that much easier to get back on your feet to go again.

Summary: Question the things in your life that aren’t going so well. Do you need to continue engaging in these activities? Is there another route you can take that will be easier on your soul and mental health?

Many of us make choices by default, not realizing the ramifications of these choices. The average person opts into mediocrity and continues making choices by default for the duration of their lives.

Want to be an outlier? Proactively and consciously make choices that reap the results you desire.

Choose to engage in activities, careers, and responsibilities you actually enjoy. Life is too short to be failing at things you didn’t even need to sign up for in the first place.
