Are You Ever Really Alone?
You don’t need to feel lonely
There are times when you may feel alone and like no one cares.
Being alone and lonely are not uncommon for many people upon the earth. Family and friends are important to one’s good mental health, but those people may not always be around. There may be times in your life when you might feel like you are all by yourself without anyone who cares about you. It is a sad feeling, but there are some things that can be done to alleviate the loneliness.
Some people don’t mind being alone. They may go to movies and restaurants by themselves. They don’t feel that they need company in order to have some fun or enjoyment from life. Others may feel that they need other people around them in order to enjoy life.
An article came up on Facebook which was from an extroverted person who found herself alone on a trip. She thought it was going to be torture, but she discovered that she enjoyed the time very much.

There is a lot to enjoy in the world, whether we do it by ourselves or with others. IF you do feel lonely, you could call someone on the phone. Maybe you could go and visit another person. You might take a walk and encounter a neighbor as you enjoy nature. You could write a letter, send an email, or read a book. You don’t have to feel lonely if you engage with other people or just enjoy and appreciate your own company.
Being alone does not mean having to be unhappy and sad. Life is here for us to enjoy while we are upon the earth. Whether we are with people or alone, we can have a happy attitude and enjoy good mental health by doing so.
