Are You Emotionally Resilient?

Are People Aware Of The Power Of Their Minds?

I feel that more people need to become aware of the fact that their mindset and thoughts influence their reality.

The way people’s lives turn out does depend significantly on their mindsets and thoughts.

The Power Of Attraction

People who generally have a more positive mindset and think positively will tend to attract as well as manifest more positive things and outcomes in their lives.

Conversely, people who generally think negatively will tend to experience more negative events and outcomes, that in turn compound their negative feelings.

It Ultimately Comes Down To What Type Of Mindset You Choose To Cultivate

Of course, there are definitely unfavourable, challenging, and tough situations and events in everyone’s lives.

But, people’s perceptions play a huge part in how they approach and navigate such situations, as well as how much they get affected by them.

For example, people who are generally more positive, will not be too adversely affected by such hard, challenging situations.

This is because their positive mindset naturally makes them more resilient to such situations.

I’ve Tried To Apply This Concept In My Own Life

For me, this realization has really helped me in terms of navigating and dealing with various situations and events in my daily life.

Because I’ve realized the powerful influence of thoughts and feelings in general, I’ve made it a point not to dwell or get too absorbed in whatever negative thoughts and feelings I experience each day.

This mindset and awareness have also significantly helped me in terms of consistently moving forward, persevering, and not giving up in my process of improving and getting better.

Because I’m aware that my thoughts and feelings can influence the outcome of certain events, even if I’m unable to actively feel positive, at the very least I try my best to not dwell or wallow in any negative thoughts and feelings that I may be experiencing.

This Ultimately Allows Us To Be More Emotionally Resilient

In that sense, this awareness that our mindset and thoughts shape reality can indeed make us more pragmatic, rational, and forward-thinking when it comes to managing and moving past whatever problems we may be facing.

That being said, in general, it is indeed challenging as well as unrealistic for people to have a constantly positive mindset, all of the time.

Hence, the next best thing would be for people to at least not dwell upon whatever negative thoughts and experiences they encounter in their daily lives.

This is because, dwelling or ruminating too much on such negative things will definitely not help, but instead will make them worse and cause unnecessary stress and potential anxiety.

And so, that’s the type of mindset that I try my best to inculcate in my daily life. And for the most part, it has benefitted me.
