The priceless things of Life or is it something beyond?

The Best things are like Gifts.

Gifts always remain a joy of excitement for the undiscovered wraps. The moment we give an ear to it or seek an eye towards expecting it, is a moment concealed with happiness. Many-a-times, our circle of Life resides on an epicenter of gifts or the best things— both hidden or ones bound by expectations.

Individually me, has quite a fascination for gifts. However, it owes emotional inclinations rather than owing to a materialistic touch. The range shifts from persons to persons. Also, the behavioral aspects. The virtues to which each individual pillars their perceptions towards best things of Life.

For instance, there are people who find joy and best in things owing to big in riches like a fancy car or bungalow or constant elation in competing with the world for material success. The count goes on where satisfaction in gifts remains like a thirst forever. Mostly, like a reward based on external validations.

Contrarily, there are few groups who find their best things in almost everything — whether attained or unattainable. Their gifts remain like contentment achieved beyond any measure. This attributes to gifts of even spreading a wave of smile, sacrifices made, embracing the fault lines or even say shedding a drop of joyful tears while reading from the pages of an old diary or even a thought which strikes unnoticed yet leaves a mesmerizing impact.

In either of the two groups, both the gifts and people's perception differ. However, the latter is where the final victory resides.

Ahead, be it whichever group one falls into, the real question is — Are The Best Things In Life Free? Are the best things of Life, only the stores of material reserves? Or are the best things which though priceless yet remains expensive?

To answer, let us discover the experiments in finding the best gifts and how worthy is it labels. When the talks of Life goes on, I found —

Life is an endowed blessing. A gift.

Aptly, the best gift which is graced freely, however the act towards carving the Life determines whether it turns out the best or is like a closed chapter.

Hence, the best things always comes at a cost. Not tagged in terms of monetary aspect but comes with a sense of responsibility.

In the words of Ryan North, “Maybe the best things are those that take the most work, you know? Maybe how you get somewhere can be at least as important as where you’re going.”

It is like a mutual coherence established to an understanding built at a deeper level. It binds spirit of interconnections and unison. This journey of best things needs a way more effort to work upon. Else, the repercussions last a lifetime impact to build or break up to the core.

Hence, the best of each gift is a set of values that we inculcate to reflect back. Making it count is what paints the glory towards happy living.

The theoretical approach seems bit aloof, however, relatable day to day examples certainly answers the best.

1. Sense of wisdom crafted can serve as one of the best gifts towards a beauteous Life. It never comes free. As time passes by, wisdom gets established through confronting situations, circumstances, knowledge and challenges in the battlegrounds of Life. It has pathways that folds, unfolds to manifold into multiple insightful caricatures of Life. Reason — It helps bifurcate the dilemma errors in Life. Reduces stress. Acts as guidelines. Overall, documents as a peace building for the survivals of Life.

Did I find it challenging? To answer — Yes. In fact, each day seems to me like a new wisdom gained. I find it as an unending tapestry of thoughts in my journey. However, what wisdom does — is make the journey to be much livable by confronting errors. Its magical but not easily attained.

In short, Wisdom is peace and gets established through experiences.

2. A spiritual self is like an enlightened soul.

This aspect covers the meditative approach of Buddhist philosophy — Spirituality and Spiritualism. If coined in monetary terms, it boards freely but if adapted as a part of Life — it’s not an easy road. One needs to develop sense of mindfulness on a daily basis to meet their spiritual self.

The question, however, lies is — Why should one need to meet their spiritual self?

From what I adapted into practicing Spirituality, is when I got closer in connection to my individual self. The self which needs to be disconnected from the noise to be heard. Like a quietude state to meet our spiritual self. It has unsaid voices where irregularities of Life seeks completion. This path of such a discovery, though best yet is not free.

3. The power of Affection is the essence of Life. It is the pillar on which relationships are built and destroyed. This too never comes for free. It is a mutual pathways adopted. Like a two way street.

The harsh but real truth is that — Sacrifice is the highest virtue of affection.

Be it our parents, siblings, friends or any relationship shared — it requires effort and sense of understanding to move the wheel of Life. In fact, relationships are like garden and we remain the gardener. It has to be nurtured on everyday scale.

However, once we meet with such graceful people coming from heart who accepts you without any clause, definitions or situational priorities or judgement attached — then Life becomes worth living for.

Did I meet such people? Certainly not. Reason — Its not easy to find such gems despite one’s even being a true gem at heart.

Hence, goes the age old adage by Oprah Winfrey, “Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.” To me, I rarely have counts — mostly me with my diary of thoughts.

Though a rare pursuit, yet affection remains the best thing which lasts a lifetime.

4. Trust, Honesty, Faith and Loyalty — These are the best gift one can embrace and resonate back. However, this too comes at a cost. And the stakes of these virtues out-stands any of the monetarily aspects of Life. One needs to get through series of experiences, lessons, learning and teachings to acquire these set of values.

Faith and honesty abides by trust and loyalty involved. It cannot be a subject to breach nor can be ignored. Also, it cannot be messed.

Consider a take on any aspect of Life, be it your dreams, goals, studies, relationships or establishing a connection with self — all these strata require concoction of bound connectivity garnered with honesty. All it gets really attained and valued once the moment its broken. Hence, this aspect costs to insane scars which remains difficult to heal.

When compared to monetary virtues, the attributes of honesty and loyalty stands out. It remains the best token of Life echoed.

5. The moments of Life. More specifically, our Time.

Although, it is the best gift which stands free yet is pricey. If undervalued, the same time can make you a victim to nightmares. Like making the best gift turn out to be the worst. It never can be taken into granted. Once passed unwisely, it clouds a line for bleak prospects.

This doesn’t mean if Life is going bleak then its the results of undervaluing time. Sometimes, the reason remains untraceable. Much outward the boundaries of our capacity. However, the real action lies in — effort. A constant effort with trials and errors for a survival with undying spirit.

The power of time, hence, has the super power to turn the tables — both in favor or against. Hence, this best gift also comes at cost.

6. The building of our knowledge and creative self.

Regardless of moments, creativity speaks. Mostly like, Creativity doesn’t wait for that perfect moment. It rather, fashions its own perfect moments out of the ordinary ones. It even castes spells of beauty in imperfections.

To me, I did find creativity and knowledge as an infinite sea of entropy where possibilities never ends. The more we dive into it, the greater its depth and hence, wider its expanse.

It is through the daily insights attained via reading, observation and paying heed to the thought process which built the knowledgeable creative self. It requires constant effort and consistency. Hence, this gift too is not free.

7. The value of Integrity.

This aspect establishes the character traits of a person. Also, governed on ethical rules. Integrity is based on no wrongdoings — be it even being watched or when remains out of view. This virtue owes a sense of responsibility in carrying out self in a rightful manner.

Can it be ever free ? The answer is — No! Probably, the stakes here are much more as and when compared to monetary aspect of “free.”

8. To Life — Compassion and Empathy can be regarded as the highest order state. With such characteristics, one is able to feel through Humanity, walk through Life school, is able to understand the emotional aspects of all Life forms existent. I believe, it is through the sheer effort being preached, learnt and lessons gained which helps build the coherence.

Can it be cost effective ? To answer is — No! In fact, it requires a lot more effort to understand and be understood.

9. The spirit of Self- Respect and Self-Worth.

These aspects can’t be bought with money. Neither, it can be granted as a gift by any of the outward source. It is only through the lens of your Life which envisions the worthiness in You. The highest form of regard where one places themselves at.

This aspect, to me, can never be free of cost. It comes with its own sets of regards and disregards. The only rule is — How you set yourself to be treated.

10. Last, yet not the least is Life of goal-contentedness.

One can owe infinite goals, dreams and imaginations. It comes for free. However, lacked efforts towards moving the cartwheel of goal merely, sets the aim going unfulfilled. To only narrate the tale of coming at the cost.

In fact, a well-balanced Life is about enjoying the journey towards seeking ones goal. Be it small or big, goals give directions to Life. It sets to connect.

To conclude, all these aspects are like a mirrored beauty to soul.

Also, the most cherished!

However, the best gifts in Life always assigns a measure of being costly — not in terms of money but much above aspect covered beyond monetarily and materialistic values and approaches.
