Are Reads Lower During the Winter Holidays?
Damn you, December!

People are busy in December, they say.
I guess I’m not people because it’s when I’m the least busy. I don’t really do holidays, I don’t have kids of my own, and the kids I usually take care of for a living are home with their parents who have off work.
I’m not a super-consistent writer on this platform, but when I have time, I tend to release a bunch of articles all in a row. I have the time right now.
But the reads haven’t followed and I’m mad. I really thought some of these stories would attract eyes.
I Thought You Said “Sex Sells”
How many times have you heard that sex sells? I heard it loud and clear, so I released two sex-related articles recently. But they don’t even have 100 views yet and I’m mad! Should I have waited to release them until after the holidays?
Here’s a sex-related story, do you not want to read about female sexual pleasure around Christmas, or what?
I Thought You Said Writing About Writing for Money Sells
My article about making money writing erotica should be my most read article ever. It’s got it all: sex, instructions as to how to make money writing, and it actually contains useful information that I’ve never seen on this platform before.
Look!
Where are my clicks? Don’t you think jolly old Saint Nick wants you to make money writing erotica?
All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Sex Articles Read and Applauded
My partner is flying home for the holidays. I’m going to be alone, writing Medium articles. Please read them and clap for them. Unless you hate sex and money, I guess.
Merry Christmas. Maybe you’ll want to read about me getting kicked off Facebook for calling a baby a “sweet potato” in once 2022 has started.
I wrote other articles, but I didn’t expect them to generate lots of reads. These three, though. C’mon, December. It’s bad enough I have to have a birthday during this cursed month, at least give me eyes on my Medium articles. Please?
