Affirmations get a bad rap. They are seen by most as some hippy-dippy nonsense. Yet if you think about it they are perfectly logical.

Our thoughts are the basis of our lives, they create our feelings and ideas about ourselves and the world.

If our thoughts are filled with anger and resentment, or fear and anxiety, that’s what we’ll experience in our lives.

If we change our focus from lack and fear to hope and abundance our outside world will change too. If our negative thoughts control us and keep us stuck, positive thoughts will set us free.

Life can be hard and scary or challenging and exciting, depending on what we tell ourselves.
