How much did I earn in April for having +400 followers on Medium

It’s a long way to success…

This month, I increased my output considerably to 11 articles. Even though I published more articles, my views and earnings haven’t increased in tandem. Some articles hardly get any views at all. And when someone does click on the article, they only stay for 2 seconds.

Enough complaining, let’s look at the stats.

The spike in views beginning on April 17th came from the March earnings report. Last month, my views were higher, totaling 2.124. Most of those views were actually external, so they didn’t affect my earnings too much. I had 812 reads this month which gives a read ratio of 61%. That’s acceptable.

As you can see, most of my income was generated by the income report from March. Only 2 out of the 5 best-earning articles were published this month. The other 3 were written last month. It’s nice to see that compounding effect start but I don’t expect it to continue next month.
