Appreciation For A Big Goal
How to keep going

“Goals transform a random walk into a chase.”
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
When I decided to join the NaNoWriMo challenge to write 50,000 words and my first book manuscript this month, I was up for the joy of a challenging goal.
Within the same month, I won and lost a writing contract. My writing time for my book was cut short, but I will not give up.
If anything, the failure has strengthened my resolve to keep going.
I came back to my keyboard with a smile on my face this afternoon. After spending a joyful time relaxing with my family, I am ready to get to work and do what my heart calls me to do.
As of this moment, I have a precious 15,355 words written.
I am proud of how far I have come, and in the next three days, I will give it my all. Whatever the number is, I will stand tall.
From that point forward, I promise to finish my book and share it with the world. I hope to inspire, encourage, and uplift every human being who reads it. It is a joy to share my message with all of you.
No matter where you are on your journey, keep walking. Your feet will carry you in the direction of your dreams if you hold your lantern steady and shine bright for everyone.
Are you writing a book right now? Do you have a big goal to achieve? Please share your story in the comments. I appreciate you!
Today I was inspired by the joy, creativity, and humor of my dear friend pockett dessert. I love her stories, photos, and graphics. She is inspiring me to pick up my camera, write more, and make my videos again. Thank you, Pockett!
Please consider joining my newsletter for my upcoming book, Letters From Your Inner Being. You will receive a weekly letter of encouragement with snippets from my book.
