Antipoetic Playlist

Instrumentation Meets Versification

Throughout the last decade, Obsidian Eagle has written verses in an obscure style called Anti-Poetry. However, writing alone hasn’t sufficed for this author’s avant-garde avidity. In order to push the boundary of what constitutes proper poetry even further, OE has been hard at work recording highly experimental audio. Most of these compositions aren’t really songs in any traditional sense. In fact several of them are meant to be a little jarring so as to throw listeners for a loop. Sometimes lyrics are sung while elsewhere OE relies on sheer verve of voice — viz — spoken word.

Among many other things Obsidian is a guitarist who tends toward private performances only for his family and friends. Yet he also enjoys dabbling with electronic audio production techniques. Thus his musical offerings cover a wide range of different sub-genres (though generally rendered in Lo-Fi). He has recently started collecting his audibles into an album cheekily dubbed: tInY hItS.

Said sonic stanzas have been made available by way of SoundCloud. You can listen to them below and even download your favorites for FREE!
