Another Year Bygone

Life just goes on…
Another year which taught many lessons just like all the previous ones did.
A year which had many twists and turns, ups and downs, rights and wrongs. Nothing could ever stop you from wasting your life doing nothing.
There were hints of inspiring turn around moments which faded away quickly with time. It is the same every year, you want to do something with your life but unfortunately, that’s not what you do.
You can’t even decide what you want to have, who you want to date, where you want to go.
It’s all a pretty big mess which never gets to you.
But that’s the fun. Life is a mysterious treasure hunt in which the clues given to you are minimal and the paths you need to tread to get what you want is immeasurable.
Take life as it comes, they say, but it anyway happens that way. You need not accept it, but life forces you to it.
Things you need to do in the coming year:
Take pride in whatever you do.
You need to be confident, be it whatever you are doing. Your confidence and conviction would definitely show up in your work when you do things with pride.
Live with the freedom to do things you have never done before.
Life is too short. So start doing things that are beyond your comfort zone. Its all about exploring yourself and getting better at it. Nobody would love to die at 12.
Let go of all your fears, inhibitions and doubts.
Trust your instincts, they don’t lie. Had you been a bit more impulsive on the decisions you doubted back then, your life would have been a lot better. Start taking actions instead of thinking about what might go wrong.
Take some time for yourself every day.
Spending alone time is the best you can give to yourself in this new year. Get out, take a stroll in the park, listen to music. Stop cribbing and learn to lose yourself in your thoughts. Exercise, run, play some sports, sweat a lot and be fit and strong.
Surround yourself with the right people who resonate your ideas and ideologies.
The best thing you can do for the year is to make sure that the people you spend most of your time are inspiring, challenging, supporting and conscious of their life and goals. Like-minded people do wonders. Train your tribe, move out, let out your thoughts, have discussions, party a lot. Most importantly be there for each other. Make sure that you abide by the basic human principle of helping each other when in trouble.
Bonus Things:
Leave the past and forget about what’s already lost.
Don’t trouble yourself with grudges on people. That’s not taking you anywhere.
Give up on playing small. Aim big and achieve big.
“It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.” — as quoted by Theodore Roosevelt.
Love yourself more and get out into the world with a bag full of infinite hopes that keep coming out even after the previous ones get shattered.
This year find 3 hobbies that you love:
One to make you money
One to keep you in shape and
One to be creative
