Another Claim About Federal Agents On January 6
A Congressman spoke about it
Trump supporters wore hats and clothing about MAGA.
A U.S. Congressman from Louisiana has made claims about federal agents being undercover at the Capitol on January 6, 2021, when Trump supporters stormed the building in Washington, D.C.
Clay Higgins is a Republican who was born in New Orleans and raised from the age of six in Covington, Louisiana. He has worked in law enforcement in the past and is a reserve law enforcement officer for Louisiana. He has been a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2017.
He claims that numerous undercover agents were dressed in Trump clothing and were part of the riot at the Capitol.
A story by Joseph Ellis in State Of The Union was titled: “Congressman Says There Were ‘At Least 200’ Undercover Agents Embedded On Jan 6.”
U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins claims that there were “at least 200” undercover federal agents embedded in the crowd during the January 6 Capitol riot, some of whom were “dressed as Trump supporters” and inside the Capitol before it was breached.
He suggested that the FBI’s involvement was deep, not just on January 6, but in the days and weeks prior.
Higgins claims that FBI agents had infiltrated the group. FBI officials have not denied the claim that they had agents there, but they say that no FBI agents were involved in the violence of the riot.
This is the same congressman who made a veiled threat against special counsel Jack Smith. Higgins is obviously a strong supporter of Trump. He said in an interview on Newsmax that Smith’s “days are numbered.”
Whether that refers to Smith’s work or his life is not known, but it is considered as a serious threat on another person.
Smith’s office indicted Trump on four felony counts regarding the January 6 insurrection and Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.
Trump continues to have strong support from millions of voters along with certain Republican members of Congress.
