Another Childhood Joy Disappears

Photo by Jeet Dhanoa on Unsplash

I grew up watching this series of cartoons.

Many of my childhood joys came from the limited television we had, watching various Japanese cartoons.

There were no smartphones back then, and PC were not common either, let alone handheld gaming devices (although Nintendo’s GameBoy series was already popular at that time).

The motivation to finish my homework as quickly as possible after school came from various television programs.

But children’s programs were always in the evening, so I had to complete my homework quickly enough because there was no replay function back then, otherwise I would miss the serialized programs.

I am grateful to these cartoons for bringing so much joy to my childhood.

Goodbye, Toriyama Akira.
