Angry Octopuses Listen Every Day for Those Pesky Tourists

Flippers flapping; Snorkels burbling; Go-Pro cameras zooming; Bloody tourists! Just listen to those idiots!

This octopus is unhappy! Indeed, cranky. No, dial it up a notch. He is angry.

Sexually satisfied after sacrificing one of his eight arms for the passing pleasure of procreation, it’s taken months to rebuild his Octopus Garden Under The Sea and regrow his arm. And there’s the rub.

The warm water wafting by his cave streams from the local mini-nuclear power station. He has grown an extra arm! Well four, actually. Still, it helps with the garden, that extra two pairs of hands.

I loved this Drabble so much, it inspired me to publish a new story about an Octopus’s Garden.
