Andy Warhol Got Quite a Few Things Right
Aren’t his words intriguing?

I’m not sure if Andy Warhol was ever considered to have prophetic abilities, but he sure did have some. He clearly anticipated our current obsession with being in the spotlight.
In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.
Social media feeding of individual vanity has definitely gotten out of hand, but it might have however also helped us learn a valuable lesson about ourselves in the process. Getting the chance to display photos of ourselves for big audiences changes our whole concept of the self.
Andy was a genius, that’s a fact, and if he is well-remembered and people rave about him now, it’s mainly because of how different his art was. It still impacts. Quite greatly so.
I have never heard anyone praise him for the wise things he used to say… and I find this surprising. We should as, just saying, many of them are quite profound, even though they might seem deceivingly simple.
I think everybody should like everybody.
You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you.
The idea of waiting for something makes it more exciting.
Everybody must have a fantasy.
It would be very glamorous to be reincarnated as a great big ring on Liz Taylor’s finger.
Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it.
People should fall in love with their eyes closed.
I wonder if it’s possible to have a love affair that lasts forever.
Art is what you can get away with.
All these quotes make me stop and ponder. Isn’t each one of them intriguing?
