And The Oscar Winners Might Be…

Behold my predictions and this year’s Academy Awards nominees

reetings Medium cinefiles! It is I, cultural critic at large (40R to be exact) with this year’s nominees for the coveted golden statuettes to be distributed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Sunday, March 10 from 7:00 PM to God knows when EST (God’s time zone).

So without further ado, here’s whom slutty ol’ Oscar might be going home with after the after party. I’ve highlighted my choices in bold, for various reasons ranging from my not so humble opinion of the quality of the performances, Oscar’s predilection foreign pictures of late and in the case of a tie, a toss of a 1964 Kennedy half dollar, which rumor has it, is how the Academy itself settles these things.
