Tearful joy’s rivers

Ravyne brings forth from our eyes

Filling Greg with Light

Which shines like a million suns

In my tiny universe

This tanka of appreciation was channspired to me after reading my dear friend Ravyne’s last comment in a long thread between us, which I proudly share with any readers:

You have so much to offer the world, Marcus. Don’t let some jerks lower your vibration to their level. Like I keep telling my friends on Youtube who are harassed by trolls… block and move on if you can and live your best life. But you know this, Marcus. You helped teach the whole live your best life to me. I love you, my dear friend.

Tagging a few friends and poets who may want to express their appreciation for Ravyne Hawke in a poem (tanka is her favorite I believe, but I think some haibun would be awesome), or, for the metal head below who has yet to face his fears of trying to write one, just leave a comment, or if you don’t know Lori, so that you may decide to read Ravyne.

If you write a piece of appreciation for Ms. Lori Ravyne Hawke Carlson and I missed anyone who should be tagged, please add a tag of them in yours, and as I doubt I’ll see many submitted here to my pub, please leave a link in the comments as I don’t trust the tag notification system not to glitch and it only works via the “you’ve been mentioned in a story by ______” notification through the app and easily gets missed

I leave you with this song:
