Time flies when you’re having fun

Over the past thirty days, a lot has happened.

Yet, the month has disappeared as quickly as the previous ten since we landed in 2021. Only another 31 days and we will be in 2022.

I remember our New Year’s Eve party when I was nine years old.

We enacted my great idea that I would play the New Year and my dad would play the Old Year. I came in through the front door as the clock struck midnight, and then made a show of throwing my dad out of the house.

My dad seemed so old to me then.

But he was four years younger than I am now. Where has the time gone?

If the saying is true, at least it shows that I am having fun.

Cheers to the close of 2021! 🎉🍾
