Anapamu Street

Friendship and bloom

Photo by the author, Mark Tulin

My stroll along Anapamu Street is met by the inviting rows of roses, roses of romantic red, roses of purity in white, orange roses of desire, pink roses of gratitude, and yellow roses of friendship

The roses take my hand, guide me on the path of nature’s walk in the glistening sunlight of a Santa Barbara morning

While I may smell jasmine in the ocean breeze, my eyes are firmly fixed on unfurling petals, innocently, they bloom, allowing its beauty to be enjoyed in peace.
