Analysis of an 82% Read Ratio and 100+ Reads Post.
A Breakdown of the post to see if there are any insights for you to use.

Have you ever reconsidered why one of your posts did better than the others?
We’ll be breaking this thing down.
What helps with Views
Time: Post was posted at 9:20 PM EST (I think this is the last batch of traffic for the day before the daily cut-off at 12 AM)
Title: The Best Time to Hit Publish. (I Think I Found It). I have altered it a few times and I think I found it does help a bit, that’s what I think.
Main Image: The main image when I saw it, was already appealing with a bright yellow background, you can’t ignore it.

What helps with Read Ratio
Subtitle: I think it was okay but it does help connect the fuller idea with the title and image.
Content: The first part between the 2 images, sets the stage with different formats, fronts, and a short list that keeps the reader reading.
Content after the 2nd image: There was a mention of Theo Rose, which is always a plus to mention somebody. (Oliver Lövström said he wants to read this one when it comes out, so I added him here.)
From here the content most likely already got its read.
And that was halfway through the post, so a longer post also has the benefit of readers expecting more so they read till the end as long as it is interesting.
As for tags, I’m still trying to figure out the essentials that move the needle.
That sums up the breakdown
What about the earnings and stats?

As far as earnings, wasn’t the biggest earner per read but $0.157 per read wasn’t bad either.
Interesting Finding
I also found a ratio to be somewhere true for many of the top-performance post.
I use it to measure if the post is underperform or over-perform.
Even if it is a good post, there is good and bad in between them as well.
That is, # of people who clap tends to be 2x the number of people who commented, and the number of reads = 2x the # of people who clap.
(It is more true during the first few days of the an performing post)
I have not been able to do many of those as it requires a lot more time and focus to craft a post that is 3-minute or longer and packed with values.
It tends to happen during my before-bed or wake-up morning writing session and publishing during peak traffic hours in the morning. But this one shows that is not always the case.
You can read that Post here if you haven't read it, thanks.
Thanks for Reading.
