An Open Letter to Ev Williams
Books, books, and more books

Dear Mr. Williams,
I commented the other day on your post regarding Medium having acquired a Glose in Paris, France. I had stated that I don’t have time to write and advertise. Please give me a moment of your time to elaborate if I may.
I have approximately 60 ebooks on Amazon (English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish) at the moment under my pseudonym. I have recently published a paperback in my given name, Terry L. Cooper. What I love about Amazon is the ease of use and that with one account you can publish under up to three different names.
What I don’t like about Amazon is how there are so many weeds buyers have to slush through before they find the occasional rose. I won’t be telling you anything you don’t already know when I tell you that the Amazon platform is beyond saturated.
I have checked out other platforms and frankly, none of them make me want to move. Vocal is a cleaner looking site however, they want too much editorial control over what writers write. You can submit a 9-card tarot card drawing and reading but submit one article where you mention God in it and it gets rejected.
Think of this as my ‘Dear Santa,’ letter 11 months early.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I have a lot more to say, but I’m sure you’ve got 6 inboxes right now piled 12 inches high each!
Regards,
Ms. Terry L. Cooper
