An Ode to Ivy
A poem about a new baby

The very soul of nature, Lies right there in her eyes. In all her ethereal features, And her miniature size.
This tiny new being, This gargantuan love, Like every smile, every finger, Plucked from a star up above.
She’ll change the universe this one, It was clear from the start. Like Ivy hugs the walls of a home, This girl, she’s clung to our heart.
