Yesterday, whilst catching up on my favourite writers and indulging in some new content, I came across an article written by Patricia Rosa. (See below)

In the piece, Patricia talks about a 30-day LinkedIn challenge that required her to post something new every day, without fail, on the platform. She then goes on to reveal some of the lessons learned from the experience.

As I read through the article, immersing myself in Patricia’s story, two phrases kept circling around in my mind;

  • Consistency and discipline equal results.
  • Don’t be afraid to try new things.

Seeing how Patricia made time each day to publish a post on LinkedIn, regardless of what else she had going on in her life, inspired me.

The consistency and discipline on display were commendable and it spurred me on to try harder with my own writing goals.

Another thing Patricia mentioned in her piece was that the LinkedIn challenge had given her a new lease of life on writing, driven her to push boundaries and explore outside of her comfort zone.

Reading how she had put herself out there and took a risk on something new was motivating and had me contemplating ways in which I could explore new avenues with my own content creation.

As we take the first few steps into a new month and plan out the weeks ahead, I think we should all take a leaf out of Patricia’s book and decide to up the ante when it comes to chasing our goals.

Even if you only make a small bit of progress in the beginning it’ll be worth it. Because no doubt you’ll build some good habits along the way. And it’s good habits that will get you to where you wanna be in life.

Thanks for reading.
