An honest, hype free review of taking cold baths
There’s so much annoying content out there related to cold bathing…
It’s super over explained. But that’s only because ice baths really do work.
Whether you need a boost in productivity, are looking for athletic benefits, or just want to improve your mindset; Cold water is your friend.
I believe taking a cold shower or bath is the best way to reduce soreness for me personally, and it’s also a really incredible way to challenge myself mentally and grow as a person.
The first few cold baths fucking sucked tbh, I couldn’t last more than a few seconds.
As you do it however, you’ll notice how you’ll improve at staying in. My first cold bath was literally seconds; My most recent a couple minutes.
Regardless, it seems to me that its when you get out of the bath that you’ll feel a true physical benefit. Your skin and body will feel good; Much less tense than normal.
Its the mental clarity that cold showers or baths bring me that matters most to me, however. I feel focused, locked in.
I feel ready to be productive and ready to take on other challenging tasks.
