An Early Autumn Noon With Bees Buzzing

Sunday sonnet

Hard to believe the time has passed so soon. Seems yesterday another summer’s day. I step outside this cool and hazy noon to look around and see the creatures play.

These leaves of orange red and yellow wave though most are lush and green with fresh new growth. Three blue birds land, then five. All surely crave a turn to feed, these blues and others both.

Two downey woodpeckers, two chickadees, more blues arrive with flittering and flight. An autumn welcome feasting then come bees. This noontime sun still shines though not so bright.

Amidst the chirping cheeping everywhere. Bees buzzing loud and louder through the air.
