An Eagle Majestically Perched on the Dead Branch — Free
Inspiring your hope and potential…

Watching from afar
I wondered what the eagle perched on the dead tree could see that I could not. Never moving, only turning her head slowly to the left and right.
She has come every day this week, and sometimes you can see her circling the lake searching. Then, a swoosh diving into the water, soaring up with a small fish in her fierce talons.
With strength and tenacity, she holds fast to her woody throne. Could I do the same faced with uncertainty? What courage lies within me to glide above the questions? With resilience, I stand secure that I remain vulnerable and speak my truth.
Like two eagles soar as one upon the river of the wind with the promise of forever, we will take the past and learn how to begin. — Pocahontas
The Eagle
She sits on the branch of the dead tree in the lake. waiting, waiting. Majestically she watches-sees what we cannot.
She doesn’t ask permission from the sky to swoop. Her wings open and off she goes no permission. She takes off free flying, flying where we can’t go.
I want to be like that eagle knowing, seeing what’s in my soul. Soaring so free never waiting- strong, being me.
